Los Gigantes is located in the South of Tenerife. Los Gigantes is a small resort compared to the likes of Los Cristianos and Las Americas but does offer everything you would expect and more of a resort in Tenerife.

Los Gigantes got it's name from the surrounding cliffs which have the same name of Los Gigantes. The clifs which mark the southern boundary of the Teno mountains is no doubt one of the most impressive sights in Los Gigantes.

Los Gigantes is a pretty resort with many flowers and tree and is very well kept. The resort which is small has a certian atmosphere about it which makes you feel calm and relexed. Unlike many other resorts there is little chance of the resort becoming larger due to it being closed in on all sides.

Like all the resorts in Tenerife the climate in Los Gigantes is very good providing good weather all year round.

Within the resort you will find many bars and restaurants and a small harbour area. The prices are very good around the harbour and a meal at sunset will not cost you much making it a ideal place to visit and eat on your holiday. Towards the cliffs you will also find a small and well sheltered black sand beach which is rarely busy by tourists trying to top up there tan.

Los Gigantes is a very good place to have a holiday in Tenerife, away from the main tourist destinations this resort gives you a chance to relex and go at your own pace.
